How Do I Login?
1. In the upper left corner, click on Log In.
2. Enter your new User ID (case sensitive) which was provided in the Welcome Email. It was not possible to transition the User IDs from the previous PMI-CIC website to the new PMI-CIC website. Your New User ID was automatically generated by using the first initial of the first name (capitalized) followed by the last name (with the first letter capitalized). E.g. "JDoe" for John Doe. In some cases if the User ID already exists due to same last names and first initial, a number was appended at the end. E.g. "JDoe99". If you do not have the Welcome Email, and a number was appended you will need to contact dir-membership@pmi-centraliowa.org for your User ID.
3. Tab to the field below and enter your password.
4. Click on Sign In.
What if I don't know my User ID?
It was not possible to transition the User IDs from the previous PMI-CIC website to the new PMI-CIC website. Your New User ID was provided in the Welcome Email when the new website was initiated, on 7/15/2010 for most existing members, or when the weekly membership update was performed for new members since then. Your User ID was automatically generated by using the first initial of the first name (capitalized) followed by the last name (with the first letter capitalized). E.g. "JDoe" for John Doe. In some cases if the User ID already exists due to same last names and first initial, a number was appended at the end. E.g. "JDoe99". If you do not have the Welcome Email, and a number was appended you will need to contact dir-membership@pmi-centraliowa.org for your User ID.
If the above paragraph does not provide your User ID, send an email to the Director of Membership at dir-membership@pmi-centraliowa.org.
I am a New Member, so why haven't I received a Welcome Email?
If you are a new member of PMI-CIC, then your User ID will be automatically generated for you when the pmi-centraliowa.org weekly membership update is performed. The update is a download of the data you entered at PMI.org. When the update occurs, a Welcome Email will be sent to the email address you entered on PMI.org. This process is intended to be performed every Monday morning. Contact dir-membership@pmi-centraliowa.org if you have not received your welcome email as expected.
What if I Forgot My Password? What is the Password Reset process?
The password can be manually reset by the Director of Membership, or automatically per the instructions below. This link provides a video on logging into the PMI-Central Iowa Chapter website and resetting your password as well.

1. Click on reset password.
2. Enter your primary e-mail address.
3. Open your new email from pmi-centraliowa.org and click on link to launch the PMI-CIC website page to update your password.
4. Enter your new password.
5. Tab to the next field and enter your new password again.
6. Click on Reset Password.
7. See the notification that your password has been updated. Now, you may log in with your User ID and new password.
Why is my User ID different?
The User ID for the PMI-CIC website is different from your User ID for PMI.org because the PMI-CIC website is hosted through the local Central Iowa Chapter of PMI.

You will need to provide both User IDs, your PMI Member ID, and both email addresses.

Why is my User ID not working?

How do I sign up for an Event?
To register for an event, go to the Event FAQ link under Publications - FAQ - Event FAQ. If you cannot determine how to sign up for an event from those steps, please contact dir-membership@pmi-centraliowa.org.
How can I sign up to receive emails without becoming a member? (for Non-Members)
1. Click on Sign Up in upper left corner.
2. Create your user ID by entering at least 2 characters using letters, numbers or underscore. Your User ID is case sensitive.
3. Enter your primary e-mail address.
4. Enter your first name.
5. Enter your last name.
6. If desired, enter a name for display purposes.
7. Create your password and enter it. It must be at least 5 characters.
8. Re-enter your new password.
9. Click on Sign Up.
How can I become a Member?
Go to the menu options "Get Involved - Membership - Become a Member" for instructions. Or contact the dir-membership@pmi-centraliowa.org.
Who can I contact if I need additional help/information with Login?
