Registration Fees
Registration fees include the seminar, compliments, continental breakfast, lunch, and refreshments.

Easy Online Registration
All registration will be conducted online. Register via the PMI-Central Iowa website at www.reg-pmicentraliowa.org. Registration starts July 1, 2009. See below for instructions on registration. Accepted credit cards include MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Discover.
PDU CREDIT
Registrants will have the opportunity to earn up to 7.5 PDU credits for attending the entire all-day event. PMI-CIC PDD Relations Director will file PDU credits with PMI for registrants participating for the entire PDD event. Please complete & turn in the PDU credit page from the Event guide at the end of the day.

· Already Registered on the Registration Site (eVent Manager) (All PMI-CIC Members as of 06/01/2009 are automatically registered with eVent Manager)
1. Go to www.reg-pmicentraliowa.org and click the “REGISTER” link below the event description.
2. Log in by keying your PMI membership number or your personal registration site number and your password.
3. PDD is now in your shopping cart. Click “CHECK OUT” to pay for the event.
4. Enter your credit card information and confirm the billing address. Click “SUBMIT” when ready to make a payment.
5. A confirmation page will be displayed upon successful transaction. Registration information will also be emailed to the email address provided in your profile.

STUDENTS (If you are registering with eVent Manager for the first time. If you are already registered with eVent Manager, please follow the steps for Already Registered on the Registration Site):

3. CONTACT VENKAT GUPTA, the Director of PDD operations, at support@reg-pmicentraliowa.org and let him know that you are a student. You will need to provide VENKAT the following information:
a. A student ID or some other proof.
b. Member ID that was emailed to you when you registered with eVent Manager
4. Wait for the approval of STUDENT status by the Director of Operations. You should receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of your request.
5. Go back to www.reg-pmicentraliowa.org “HOME” page and click the “REGISTER” link below the event description.
6. Log in by keying your PMI membership number or your personal registration site number and your password.
7. PDD is now in your shopping cart. Click “CHECK OUT” to pay for the event.
8. Enter your credit card information and confirm the billing address. Click “SUBMIT” when ready to make a payment.
9. A confirmation page will be displayed upon successful transaction. Registration information will also be emailed to the email address provided in your profile.
Substitutions
Substitutions for registered attendees are allowed. The alternate attendee will need to present the paid registrant’s receipt when registering on the day of the event.
Cancellations
All cancellations will be charged $50 to cover all fees incurred by credit card processing, registration vendor, and administrative fees.
Registrations may be cancelled by 09/26/2009.
No refunds after 09/26/2009.

Gaye Hanson
Gaye Hanson is a dynamic speaker who has a unique ability as a master storyteller to bring the audience on a ride through the joys and challenges of life that they won't soon forget. Gaye's motto is "IGNITING THE WINNER WITHIN YOU!" She has been described as "dynamite" and a "firecracker". Michael Dobson, PMP
Michael Dobson is the author of 20 books, including seven books on project management. His first book on the subject, Practical Project Management: The Secret of Managing Any Project On Time, On Budget, and To Spec, was described as “Frankly, the best book on project management I have read,” by the American Eagle consulting group, and has sold over 60,000 copies to date. His PMI book The Juggler’s Guide to Managing Multiple Projects was the first book to tackle that thorny frontier of project management. He has taught project management well over 1,000 times in seven countries on three continents, and has spoken at numerous PMI events. Dobson is also known as an author of alternate history military fiction. His books Fox on the Rhine and MacArthur’s War (both with Doug Niles) were both selected by the Military Book Club.
Tom Mattus
Tom has an MBA from Lehigh University and resides with his wife in Port Jefferson, New York and has two adult children living and working in Manhattan, NYC. He has made presentations at over sixty PMI chapters, ASTD Chapters, OD Network meetings, HR Middle East Conference (Dubai), PMI Bangkok, PMI Hong Kong, PMI Madrid, Seminars at Sea, and a host of other industry and company events around North America.
As a president and corporate officer of Successful Strategies International, Inc (SSI), American Express and other training companies, Tom has worked with such Fortune 1000 companies as Johnson & Johnson Worldwide, L-3 Communications, American Electric Power, Ingram Micro, Baker Hughes, Pearson PLC, New York Power Authority, Federal Express, Standard Charter Bank, Marriott International, Cablevision, Motorola, Dendrite, and many others to help resolve their project management and leadership needs, thus improving quality and performance. As an instructor, Tom has facilitated courses on such topics as Project Management, Supervisory and Sales Management. Tom has published several articles in PMI publications, websites and has released his new book, Boss Talk in the 21st Century, A Leadership Guide.
Kevin Aguanno
Kevin Aguanno is the author of over one dozen books and audio books in addition to a number of articles published in magazines and journals worldwide. With over 17 years of managing complex systems integration and software development projects, he is known in the industry for his innovative approaches to solving common project management problems. He focuses on two project management specialty areas: agile project management and troubled project recovery.
As a well-known keynote speaker, trainer, and coach in agile management methods, Aguanno has taught thousands of people how to better manage high-change projects by using techniques from Scrum, Extreme Programming, Feature-Driven Development, and other agile methods.
Aguanno is an active member of the Project Management Institute (U.S.A.) including the Information Systems SIG, the American Society for the Advancement of Project Management (U.S.A.), the Association for Project Management (U.K.), and the Project Management Association of Canada where he is a founding director. He is accredited by the International Project Management Association (Geneva, Switzerland) as a project management competency assessor, and he performs IPMA Level-B and IPMA Level-C assessments for the ASAPM in the U.S.A.
